What Is MOPs?
Micro-osteoperforation is a minimally invasive technique that stimulates bone remodeling, helping teeth move faster and more predictably into ideal alignment. This innovative treatment supports more efficient completion of braces or clear aligner therapy.
Simple In-Office Treatment
MOPs can be performed in just a few minutes during your regular visit. It’s a 3-step process:
- Step 1: Evaluate the treatment area
- Step 2: Rinse with Chlorhexidine and apply an anesthetic
- Step 3: Create the MOPs or “dental dimples” where needed
